Join us for a Formal Dedication of the Virginia Women’s Monument on October 14, 2019, 11 AM – 12:30 PM. The Virginia Women’s Monument Commission will be dedicating seven statues on October 14th. The seven statues will be of Anne Burras Laydon, Cockacoeske, Mary Draper Ingles, Elizabeth Keckly, Laura Copenhaver, Virginia Randolph, and Adele Clark. Click here for the FAQs for this event.
Parking Decks that will be available for parking at this event is in two locations:
- 9th and Franklin Street parking deck: located at 801 E. Franklin Street, Richmond VA; vehicles may enter the parking deck from either 9th Street or Franklin Street.
- 7th and Franklin Parking Deck
Parking is available in several surfaces in the blocks surrounding the Capitol. You can use the Parkopedia website to locate these parking options. There will be free street parking in and around the Capitol Square grounds on Oct. 14, 2019 because of the state observed Columbus Day holiday.

When taking the Pulse, exit 9th and Broad Streets at the Government Center Station. Make your way on foot to 9th and Grace Streets, a short walk from the station.
