Accessible Parking

Private vehicles with disabled parking placards are able to park and unload passengers on Bank Street just east of the intersection with 10th Street. There are four accessible parking spaces (two-hour limit) reserved for Capitol visitors, which can be reached by driving north on 10th Street and turning right onto Bank Street. There is no public parking on the Capitol Square grounds. Visitors with disabilities will find a barrier-free entrance to Capitol Square at the corner of 9th and Bank streets. Visitors entering the square can proceed uphill to the West Entrance in the Senate wing.

Pay parking lots and decks are nearby on 9th and Bank Streets, 8th and Grace Streets and 7th and Marshall Streets.

Public Parking

Paid public parking is available in the Capitol Square Visitor Parking Deck, entrance located on Bank Street opposite 10th Street. Spaces are pay-by-the-hour by credit card upon exiting the parking deck. Parking is also available in several surface and deck lots as well as on-street metered parking in the blocks surrounding Capitol Square. You can use the Parkopedia website to locate these parking options.
